K Comp Vol. 2 submissions have been compiled and juried and now K96.3 – Kelowna’s Classic Rock and Music BC are very proud to announce the 12 artists who have made it to Volume 2 of the K Comp.

The following local artists will be featured on K96.3’s K Comp Vol. 2 to be released in October:
The Flu, My Kind of Karma, Jayson Bendera, Mark Irving, Calum Hughes, Aaron Gordon, Dan Oig, Trinity’s Tattoo, Devon Coyote, Thomas Kjorven feat. Shameless, Jeff Piattelli and Bucknife.

Submissions came in from across the Okanagan for the second installation of the emerging artist compilation and K96.3 and Music BC would like to thank all those who applied and urges those who didn’t make it to this year’s compilation to reapply next year.

Kelowna’s Classic Rock station K96.3 and Music BC are excited to announce the launch of K Comp Vol.2 – a compilation disc featuring emerging artists from around the Okanagan. Applications for artists to be part of K Comp Vol. 2 will open to the public on June 3rd, 2011.

Coming off of the success of K Comp Vol. 1 in 2010, K96.3’s station manager Dallas Gray is confident that K Comp Vol. 2 will be even bigger and better, “K96.3 – Kelowna’s Classic Rock had a great idea and Music BC made it happen for us. Last year was a great first year and we are very proud of the end result. I am positive that the K Comp will continue to grow and we look forward to our second year working with Music BC.”
